Meet the founder

Hernando Planells

Coach. Leader. Storyteller.

Hernando’s career spans elite basketball, education, international programs, and sports entertainment. His experience includes Duke Women’s Basketball and player development in the NBA G League.

Today, he serves as Technical Director of NBA Basketball School UAE and co-owns Game Changing Films, bringing sports action direction and choreography experience across film, television, and brand projects.

Through Be Contagious, he connects those experiences with a belief that guides his work: people grow when they feel seen, trusted, and empowered to contribute.
